Fuyuan in Munich

Mix up in communication between Lieferando and the restaurant - essentially no delivery driver collected my order for delivery. When I called the restaurant I was told that it was my problem with Lieferando and that I should come by and collect it myself if I wanted to have it (I had already paid for delivery). The woman who had very poor German appeared to get frustrated at me and told me it was my problem and hung up the phone. I will not be ordering from here again - the food was delicious when I had it last time but the customer service is just so poor and now I'm grumpy and hungry. Happy Christmas.

We have been visiting this restaurant for almost 10 years and it has never disappointed! The food is always delicious and very traditional Chinese, so maybe a bit unusual for some. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try real Chinese cuisine!

Oh Fuyuan in Munich ... for the Chinese, like the only car driver in school, he is a group of friends. You always feel like it, no matter what time of day. =)

- Bad and very unfriendly service - Corona measures as good as not adhered to: we were given another one directly at our table in order to achieve monetary profit maximization. That seems to be the store's maxim. - Very good food. But with the above-mentioned aspects, the mood goes by.

The barbecued pork Shuangpin and Cantonese snacks are super delicious! The dishes are plentiful, recommended! The price is medium in Munich, and the waiter's attitude is also good, and will frequent it!

This is the best Chinese restaurant I have been to in München, with a good mix of regional cuisine, and standard dishes you find on most Chinese restaurant menus. With a good range of starters, try the Seaweed egg soup. The house made Char Sui dumplings are light, fluffy and really tasty. This place gets really busy on a weekend so book ahead.

There is too much MSG in the seafood tofu pot. For the roast duck, it was chopped after it came up, which still surprised me. The green onion is too old and keeps biting. The duck cake is not bad. Dim sum is average.

Nice Chinese restaurant with some very authentic food. All dishes were very good (Peking duck is highly recommended). Service is friendly and quick, but a bit chaotic. However, you sit a little uncomfortable and the rules of propriety are not observed.

Dimsums were disappointing...

I tried the chicken feet , rice roll with shrimp and bean sprouts with smoked tofu. The rice roll was disappointing as the wrap is too thick to my taste. The chicken feet didn't have enough flavor and was rather bland.

The best Chinese food in Germany! I ordered crispy pepper squid, sweet and sour crispy beef and stir fry water spinach with garlic. The squid was really crispy and the seasoning was so good. The beef with its sauce was very rich in flavor. The water spinach was a perfect match to complement the strong taste of the dishes. I was very satisfied with the super authentic food and it was totally worth the price.

Food was great. Unfortunately a few bones had happened in the pecking duck. But really to be recommended.

A small authentic Chinese restaurant with a great selection from different parts of China. The fishhead I ordered had the original flavour from Hunan, however the fish itself was not fresh and smelled a bit. It was not worth paying €20 for. In addition, the service there was not the most warm and welcoming service that you would expect from a good restaurant.

Delicious authentic dishes!

We have been eating in Fuyuan regularly for years because there is really authentic Chinese cuisine here. This is also confirmed by the many Asian guests. The duck in particular is very delicious. Service is always courteous and nice. For some time now, you have been able to expand your space so that the seats have relaxed. Very Good!

The service was not good. The staff completely forgot our order and remembered only after us telling them. The food also was not so great. The fried rice was not as tasty as the ones I tried till now.

Best chinese in munich nothing comes close

Was looking for authentic Sichuan food here in Munich and ended up in Fuyuan based on reviews. The shui zhu yu was out of the world with delicate fish and flavours authentic and on point. The spiciness was there but the numbing flavour of Sichuan peppercorns was mellow. Me and my boyfriend ate spring rolls and the fish together with rice which was complementary and refilled on asking. Overall very pleasant. Would 100% come back the next time I'm in Munich

Good Chinese food but wait a little too long.

They were very fast with their service and the food was quite delicious. The portions were big and overall it had a nice atmosphere. Good find for Chinese food

One of the best crispy ducks ever

This place is just fantastic. The dim sum is great, the duck (get the half with bones) is the best Chinese duck I had in Germany, and the crispy beef sweet and sour (number 38 I think) is incredible. This is my standard Chinese place in Munich. In addition, it seems often the case that when other resturants don't serve food anymore (around 22.30 or later) they will still serve you, at least to go. That in munich alone is worth 5 stars. Don't waste your time at any other Chinese restuant in Munich. Go here.
